Understanding Public and Money
This number is 27.5 on other books. Real value here especially now that we know LeBron is out but AD will play which limits blowout potential
It might not be wise to dismiss the Lake Show out of hand tonight just because LeBron (ankle) isn't expected to play; remember, minus both King James (and AD!), the Lakers actually won at another East contender on February 1, shocking the Celtics at TD Garden. But things might slow a bit regardless tonight after that breathless 150-145 track meet vs. the Pacers on Sunday, and note the Bucks haven't cleared this "total" in 15 of their last 19 games. Play Lakers-Bucks "Under"
Austin Reaves picks up his game without LeBron James. His points per game increases 4 points, averaging 18 PPG. He's hit this over in 6 of his last 9 games without LeBron on the court. Reaves also went over in his last matchup with the Bucks a few weeks ago, despite D'Lo putting up a 44 point performance.
With Lebron James listed as doubtful look for the Milwaukee Bucks to have a big upper hand Tuesday. They come in off a statement win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, defeating them 118-93. In the victory they limited SGA to just twelve points. Additionally, this could be a complacent spot for the Lakers. This is their last extended road trip of the season that features six games, and they have not been able to win four games in a row since early December. Tail the Bucks.
The last time these two teams met, D’Angelo Russell exploded for 44 points. LeBron James did not play in that matchup and he is listed as doubtful for their rematch with an ankle injury. The Bucks have allowed the seventh-most points per game in the league to opposing point guards, so with more shot attempts coming his way again, look for Russell to hit this over.
Going back to the Khris Middleton well as the former All-Star has looked fantastic since returning to the Bucks lineup after an ankle injury cost him roughly five weeks. Middleton has easily eclipsed this combo line in three consecutive games. The Lakers make for a good matchup as they play at a fast pace and bleed a ton of production to opposing forwards. Look for Middleton to keep stuffing the stat sheet tomorrow at home.
Grabbing this now thinking the spread grows, especially if Giannis and Middleton play. Both dominated vs OKC in a statement game, as expected, but you always worry about load management given their recent injury woes. No LBJ for LAL means several other might be sitting this out. Lakers have played just 2 road games since 2/25, and one of them was in Crypto vs. LAC. Not accustomed to hitting the road. Last road game East of St Lake City was 2/5 (CHI). LAL 2-4 ATS last 6 on road, failed to cover all 4 by 7 or more points. MIL 4-1 ATS last 5. Bucks second team equipped to cover this themselves if need be given all their mins with Giannis and Middleton out
