Understanding Public and Money

Guess I wanna care a little here. Tough trip across country for UDub. That doesn't matter to me much. Greg Schiano is simply a good coach and RU has a lot more guys back. Really feels like a West Coast "soft" team isn't ready for Big Ten smash-mouth football like this. Kinda think we have seen this already -- see Michigan wearing down USC.
Both of these teams are outstanding on the defensive side of the ball. Rutgers has an experienced offensive line and a strong rushing attack. I expect this game to be ugly and physical, with both teams trying to win the game on defense.
The public is all over Rutgers here. However, the Huskies are in a tough travel spot and have to go up against an above average running game and the highest graded offensive line in terms of efficiency. Rutgers also has a good secondary that can contain the Huskies passing attack. This is also Washington’s first true road game as members of the Big 10 and it should be a hostile environment in Piscataway tonight.
Rutgers will want to stay out of a shootout in this spot and look to control the game with Kyle Monangai and it's rushing attack. Also, neither of these offenses has been very explosive so far, as both defenses have been solid.
To see that Washington is 3-1 is quite remarkable considering they only return one starter and they lost their head coach from last year. It's like an entirely new program but they got Will Rogers to run the show at quarterback which was a great start. Their defense has been fine it's the offense that needs some tinkering and that might have happened after four games. The defense is No. 7 in the nation allowing only 237 yards per game. Rutgers beat Howard and Akron in the first two games favored by 24 and 34 and they won at Virginia Tech 26-23 when they were getting three. Washington is just getting started. They're better than Rutgers and they'll prove it Friday. Washington wins.
What a game to open up Big Ten play for both teams. Expect a very good defensive contest between the two. Offensively speaking, I like how mistake free the Scarlet Knights tend to play each week. Also, this is a team that doesn't beat themselves and has no problem playing the field position game.
Been waiting for this spot with Rutgers since August. Washington has to travel across the country to face a physical Scarlet Knights squad in front of a full house. It will be the new-look Huskies first game out of Washington state this season and I think they struggle against an experienced Rutgers team. I like the Scarlet Knights laying less than a field goal at home.
