These aren’t the same old John Harbaugh Ravens we’ve been accustomed to over the years with a slow, trudging offense and dominant defense. These 2019 Ravens lead the NFL in total yards (511), rushing yards (216) and points per game (36.7). I’m looking for them to keep doing their thing while also seeing the Browns spice up their predictable offense some to keep up. Over is the top play.

Cleveland’s betting supporters are jumping ship in droves. The darlings of preseason wagering to reach the Super Bowl, the Browns are being allotted a full TD. Based on the season’s first three weeks, the line is legit. Cleveland has woefully underachieved, while Baltimore has wielded the No. 1 offense under QB Lamar Jackson. The belief is that rookie coach Freddie Kinchen will start figuring things out and the defense, with 10 sacks, will harass Jackson. Some key numbers: Cleveland has covered in four of its five latest away games while Baltimore is on an 0-4 ATS slide at home.

Over the first three games, Cleveland has proven to be paper champs. Despite all of the offseason additions on the offensive side of the ball, the offense has struggled and not come together like the defense has. Baltimore is still one of the better teams in the AFC and is looking like the class of the AFC North. I expect the Ravens to get back on the winning track, keeping a Browns offense stuck in neutral. This line could close below a touchdown so grabbing it now. As bad as the Browns have looked at times, they were 5 yards away from taking the Rams to overtime. This is a ton of points to lay in a division game. Last year, Cleveland covered both meetings, falling 26-24 against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens in Baltimore in Week 17. The Browns also were getting 7 in that game. Take the points.
