B365/Caesars. Without Malik Monk or Domantas Sabonis, the Sacramento Kings’ rotation is quite thin right now. Newcomer Jake LaRavia has lead the Kings in minutes off the bench over the last two games, and should be in store for at least 24 tonight. This season, he’s over this line in 25/33 games when playing just 20 minutes. Yes, that crosses over teams, but his usage with the Kings is up compared to his tenure with the Grizzlies.

I'm sure this will be a very popular play tonight with De'Aaron Fox returning to Sacramento for the first time since the big trade to San Antonio. Bit of an apples and oranges comparison, but Karl-Anthony Towns sure went nuts in his first game back in the Twin Cities earlier this season. Ditto Klay Thompson in his first game back in San Francisco. Our model only has Fox at 21.8 points but I'll have to disagree. I don't see the Spurs getting blown out with Domantas Sabonis and Malik Monk out for the Kings, so Fox should play heavy minutes barring injury, foul trouble, etc.

It has been a quiet stretch for De’Aaron Fox, who has averaged 15.0 points over his last six games. He shot 35.4% from the field during that span, which is unlikely to last given that he has shot 46.3% from the field for the season. Prior to this cold stretch, Fox had scored at least 23 points in four straight games. This will be his first game back in Sacramento since being traded to the Spurs. He averaged 26.6 points at home as a member of the Kings this season. In a game in which he should be highly motivated in familiar confines, expect him to break out of his shooting slump.

After spending the first seven and a half seasons of his career in Sacramento, De'Aaron Fox will meet his former team for the first time. Fox's scoring has been down since joining the Spurs but if there was a potential ceiling spot, this looks like it. In addition to the extra motivation, this doubles as a fantastic matchup against one of the worst defenses in the league. The Kings will also be without Domantas Sabonis, leaving Jonas Valanciunas as their starting Center, which is good news for the Fox. Look for him to have a big night against his former squad.
