The Bulls don't have Lonzo Ball but everyone else. This is also the first of one of those baseball-type series where the teams play again tomorrow night in Chicago. Fairly rare for one team to sweep those on the road unless it's, you know, Thunder-Wizards. These clubs have split two matchups this season in Motown and Nikola Vučević has tallied a double-double in five consecutive games versus Detroit, averaging 24.4 ppg and 11.2 rpg. The Pistons are playing on the road for the first time since Jan. 29 and have dropped their past three away. Model has DET by 3.

FanDuel. Jalen Duren has cleared this line in 9 of his last 13 games. The misses were all in tough spots: CLE twice, the Magic once and the Sixers with Embiid. He now gets the Bulls and Nikola Vucevic, which is a spot he has capitalized on repeatedly (over in 2/2 this season and 3/3 last season). The Bulls rank 27th against PnR roll-men, which is Duren’s preferred playtype (with Cade Cunningham). And after a tougher stretch in December, he’s garnering more touches - he’s up to 14 paint + elbow touches over the last 13 games, and his normal rotation minutes are up to 30-34.

Malik Beasley has scored at least 17 points in nine of his last 11 games. The last time he faced the Bulls, he shot 5-for-11 from behind the arc on his way to scoring 19 points. In his only other meeting with the Bulls this season, Beasley went 5-for-14 from behind the arc and scored 21 points. He is averaging 9.5 three-point attempts per game and the Bulls have played at the third-fastest pace in the league, so another game with double-digit three-point attempts could be coming for Beasley. He is shooting 40.9% from deep for the season, so the over is the way to go here.
The Detroit Pistons will meet the Chicago Bulls in consecutive games before their All Star break. This is an important moment for a Pistons team that has a chance to go three games above .500 into break. They also defeated the Bulls in their first matchup just nine days ago on February 2nd, using a late second half surge to win by eight points. Lay it with the Pistons tonight.

Jalen Duren has recorded at least 25 combined points and rebounds in 10 of his last 13 games. That included a game against the Bulls in which he produced 21 points and 13 rebounds. In the only other game that he faced the Bulls this season, Duren had 15 points and 22 rebounds. Nikola Vucevic is a terrible defender and the Bulls have been running out guard-heavy lineups, so this is another great opportunity for Duren to produce a juicy stat line.

Coby White has scored at least 20 points in each of the last five games. With Zach LaVine no longer on the team, White should remain one of the focal points of the Bulls offense down the stretch. He is an excellent three-point shooter, shooting 38.2% on 8.2 three-point attempts per game. That’s noteworthy for this matchup because the Pistons have allowed the third-highest three-point shooting percentage in the league. White scored at least 22 points in both previous meetings with the Pistons this season. Take this over.
