Blazers forward Toumani Camara went 5 for 5 from deep last time out, raising his season 3-point percentage to 35.3. On Tuesday he faces a Bucks team that's given up an NBA-high average of 46.3 three-point attempts over its last three games. Camara went 2 for 4 from deep against the Bucks in early January, and I bet him to make at least two more Tuesday.
DraftKings. Deni Avdija has established himself as an essential piece of the young Trailblazers core, averaging 21.1 points plus rebounds this season. However, he’s cleared this line in 12 of his last 15 games, and 15 of his last 18 when playing at least 28 minutes. His size will be needed on the floor tonight, with the Blazers taking on the Bucks. It should be a solid spot for Avdija to get out in transition (Bucks allow the 11th most points per game to the playtype), and crash the boards (the Bucks allow the 8th most rebounds per game, but the 8th fewest to opposing centers). Ok at over 23.5 for 1u.
Fading Blazers at home has served us well and we're back to the well vs the surging Bucks. MIL hasn't been good in back to backs this season, but they also haven't looked like themselves til recently. Have wins by 29 (ORL) and 11 (WSH) last two times on no rest. Covered 6 of 7, all wins by 14 or ore points. Lost to POR earlier this season so I expect their attention. Blazers been better lately, but mostly on road. Lost 6 of last 7 at home, all losses by double digits. MIL 3rd in net rating last 15 games (7.4) and POR is 25th (-4.5). MIL has top Def FG% in NBA last 15 games and POR 24th in EFG% in that span.
Portland is playing much, much better of late and is very rarely on national TV so this will matter a little more to the Blazers. I'm hoping the Bucks rest Giannis in the second of a B2B and third road game in four nights after the altitude of Salt Lake City on Monday. Giannis played 37 minutes in the win. I'm quite sure Damian Lillard (41 minutes Monday) will play in his return to Portland and we will look at his O/U points. Bobby Portis missed a second straight game Monday so chances here he's not playing here. I'd imagine Khris Middleton doesn't play both ends of a B2B.
