Guess I get this because the Nets are so short-handed tonight, but veteran Dennis Schroder averages 18.7 PPG and while he has topped this in two of the past three, he hadn't in 10 of 11 prior to that. He played 37 minutes on Sunday so if this is a Chicago blowout, which is very very possible, then I don't see Schroder playing more than 25 minutes tonight to have enough time for enough shots to get to 21.5 points. Nikola Vucevic is quietly having a terrific year despite playing in his 14th season and seeing his efficiency tail off in recent seasons. While it wouldn't be the first time a player has managed to be highly motivated at this stage of his career, I think its more likely than unlikely that Vucevic's production will come back down to earth considering hes never shot above 52.5% and hes shooting 57.7% from the field, including 47% from 3 on hefty volume (Vooch is a career sub 35% shooter from deep). All these factors make him a solid fade candidate and his opponent tonight plays at one of the slowest paces in the league.

Nikola Vucevic struggled from behind the arc last season, which was rare for him. For his career, he has shot 34.6% on three-pointers. This season, he has shot a robust 46.9%. That has helped him make at least two three-pointers in six of his last seven games. When he faced the Nets earlier this season, he went 3-for-4 from behind the arc. The Nets have allowed the fifth-highest three-point shooting percentage in the league, making this over an appealing wager.

A rest advantage lies tonight with the Chicago Bulls hosting the Brooklyn Nets. The Bulls last played on Friday in a competitive game against the Boston Celtics. Furthermore, an already thin Brooklyn Nets team is playing in a back to back spot after scoring just 92 points yesterday against the Magic. As thin as the Nets are, attacking the paint and shooting overall is going to much easier then what they’ve seen the last two games against the Magic.
