The Golden State Warriors already have a decisive victory over the New York Knicks on the season, 110-99. In the victory they had a defensive edge on both Josh Hart and Donte DiVencenzo. Hart of course formerly played in the division as part of the Trailblazers, and DiVencenzo was a member of the Warriors. They shut down both for a combined 10-38 from the floor. Take the Warriors

Josh Hart continues to be an iron man for the Knicks, and we can expect another 40 minutes or so Monday at Golden State. OG Anunoby is out. Hart has cleared this prop total in nine of his last 12 games. The Knicks currently hold homecourt advantage for the first round of the playoffs, but only by half a game. Look for Tom Thibodeau to play Hart major minutes in this critical contest. On Feb. 29 against the Warriors, Hart played 47 minutes and racked up 39 combined points, assists and rebounds.

It's a good spot for the healthy Golden State Warriors as they battle at home against the Knicks who are still without Robinson and Randle who have a banged up OG Anunoby. I expect Anunoby to play, but it'll certaily be a bonus for this pick if he sits and waits to play Denver on Thursday. Either way, the Warriors come in the more healthy team and motivated to steal some wins back after losing a few games without Curry. The Warriors have Curry back and have contributors everywhere at the moment, including from Klay Thompson off the bench. Good spot to catch the Knicks on their 3rd of 4 road games in a row.

Not since the days of the Bad Boy Pistons, or maybe Dick Motta's Chicago Bulls of the early 70s, have we seen such defense. Five straight games, the Knicks have allowed 93 or fewer, and even the explosive Kings could only get to 91 on Saturday night. It's Jalen Brunson's show nowadays, as he dictates everything (especially pace) when he's on the floor, scoring 40+ in back-to-back wins for NY, though the "totals" still stay on the "under" side. As they have in five straight and indeed 29-6 since New Year's, when OG Anunoby (likely available tonight despite elbow issue) joined the Knicks mix. The Warriors are fully healthy with Steph Curry's return on Saturday, while the Knicks are listing OG Anunoby as questionable with Julius Randle and Mitchell Robinson still out. Since Jan. 30, the Warriors are tied with Boston for the most wins in the NBA (16). Golden State ranks first in rebounding (48.2 rpg), third in assists (30.3 apg), sixth in scoring (118.1 ppg), and tied fourth in 3-pointers made (14.3) during that span.
