Nurkic is in a potentially tough spot….the Raptors have some injuries and my crunch says they will play a lineup that leaves Nurkic playing 10-15% less min. The line hasn’t adjusted so we have an edge. Under

The Raptors are running out of healthy players. With their depth chart so compromised, Immanuel Quickley has scored at least 20 points in four of the last seven games. This is a great matchup for him against the Suns, who have given up the third-most points per game in the league to opposing point guards. There is some blowout risk for this game, but I still can’t resist this over.

This is a huge line for Jusuf Nurkic who averages approximately 26 PRA on the season. Nurk has been playing some great basketball recently and he gets a seemingly favorable matchup against a tiny Toronto front court. With that being said, I think this line is an overreaction and the matchup isn't as good as it appears on the surface. I've also seen Phoenix opt to play small with Royce O'Neal at Center if their opponent lacks a traditional Center (which is currently the case with Toronto). I also think Nurk is playing more minutes than Phoenix would like him to be. There is some blowout risk with this game as well.

Injuries have derailed Beal's play since the end of his days with the Wizards. But he is good form and health now, is starting to stroke it from 3 again - where he's done his best work - and he should get plenty of good looks Fri night. Beal is over this in 5 of the last 8 and is starting to play well over 30 minutes again with his legs back under him. I expect him to launch quite a few after making 5/10 the last two games. Suns need him to help put away lesser teams and curb their fourth-quarter woes.
A few weeks back it looked like the Raptors were turning it around. They were playing a higher-paced, high-scoring game and winning some shootouts. Then Scottie Barnes got hurt and then they lost key size with Jakob Poetlt going down and they are fading fast. Went 0-4 during a homestand (SU and ATS) and now start a road trip looking toward the end of the season. 3-7 ATS last 10. Failed to cover in 3 of those games by 7.5+ points. Suns haven't been world beaters at home but getting Bradley Beal going is big for them and their fourth-quarter issues shouldn't bite them here with the Raptors limitations lately.
