Understanding Public and Money
DraftKings. I wanted to wait until Jamal Murray, who was listed as doubtful all day today, was finally ruled out. Because without Murray and with Nikola Jokic, Christian Braun has cleared this line in nine of eleven games. While we have the added element of a new coaching regime in Denver, this game is of too much importance for the Nuggets to tinker with rotations, which currently had Braun seeing 36-38 minutes per game. It’s a great matchup against the Kings who give up a good amount of off-ball action. Braun should continue to thrive playing off of Jokic.
Since returning from injury, Domantas Sabonis has averaged 14.2 rebounds over his last nine games. He finished with at least 13 rebounds in six of those nine games. For the season, he is averaging 13.9 rebounds per game. While the Nuggets have Nikola Jokic manning the middle, Sabonis has grabbed at least 14 rebounds in both of his previous games versus the Nuggets this season. Dating back to last season, Sabonis has recorded at least 13 rebounds in five of his last six games against the Nuggets. I like his chances to hit this over.
The last time a winning team fired its coach - Memphis - it resulted in horrible defense and disjointed play for a while. Why should the Nuggets be any different here? They are over in 9 of last 13 games and 4 of the last 6 on road. They are 21st in D rating over the last 10 games. The Kings have scored 120+ in 3 straight and they can't stop anyone. Sacramento is specially horrible vs the 3 ball. The Kings are 10-4 over in last 14 at home and over in 13 of last 18 at home. This could get wild and messy and I suppose both teams are motivated to win.
