FanDuel. After the failed trade to the Lakers, it took some time for Mark Williams to rebound into form. But coming off a 34 minute performance on Saturday, it would seem that the Hornets big man is back to his significant workload. And he might not even need big minutes to clear this line, as he’s over in 10/13 with just 24+ minutes against teams in the bottom half of rebounds allowed to centers. The Warriors rank 29th in that metric, and Williams just grabbed 12 in 25 minutes against them, despite a 36-point blowout.
For a team that can't score, we're surprised the total would be moving upwards for any game involving the Hornets. Not because Charlotte is doing anything special on offense, failing to clear 100 points in six straight. Top scorer LaMelo Ball did return to active duty on Saturday at Washington but it didn't help much in a 113-100 loss to the lowly Wizards. Unders are 7-3 across the last ten for Charlotte, including last Tuesday's 128-92 loss at Chase Center vs. the Dubs. Meanwhile, Jimmy Butler (back) is expected back tonight after missing Saturday's loss at Philly, and note Golden State only allowed 103 pg with Butler in the lineup until the first two of this road trip at Orlando and Philly. Play Warriors-Hornets Under

This feels like a night we could see LaMelo Ball and Steph Curry have a terrific shootout with each putting up at least 40 points. Curry grew up in Charlotte, starred at Davidson and I think his dad is still a TV guy for the Hornets. Steph is always fired up playing there (just think his point total is too high). Ball idolizes Curry, and plays a lot like him, and could have been a Warrior next to Steph, but the Dubs opted to take James Wiseman at No. 2 overall in the 2020 draft instead. LaMelo is in a mini-slump but averaging 26.4 PPG at home this season.
Jimmy Butler is probable. That's all I need to know. Warriors are a dynamic offense with him and 7-1 ATS. Steve Kerr lit them up for an uninspired outing at Philly Sat night and expect better production on both ends of the court vs a hapless Hornets team. CHA used to cover at home but just got blown out by WSH. They've lost 15 of 17, are 3-6 ATS in last 9. Last 6 losses are by: 13, 7, 36, 42, 53, 14. Over last 15 games. They average just 99.8 ppg(30th) and can't score with Warriors. CHA is 30th in TS%, 30th in net rating (-15.2, WSH is 29th at just -7.5) and 23rd in rebounding % over the last 15 games. Gulp.
