Brooklyn is yet again massively short-handed and D'Angelo Russell is about the only good guard healthy on the roster so I expect that he should get plenty of shot attempts against the Knicks. Our model and a few others have him at 15.5 points. Russell has topped this number just twice since joining the Nets via trade but both in games where he had at least 13 shot attempts, which I expect tonight.
B365 @ -120. Mikal Bridges has cleared this line in 15 of his last 20 games with both Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson active. Now, he gets a Nets defense that ranks in the bottom 4 against both spot-up shooting and transition defense - Bridges scores more than half of his points via those playtypes. Toss in some added motivation for Bridges in his first game back in Brooklyn since being traded to the Knicks - I like this spot.
This is the second game of a back-to-back set for the Knicks. Karl-Anthony Towns played 37 minutes Monday after sitting out two straight games with a thumb injury. If the Knicks race out to an early lead against the vastly inferior Nets, Achiuwa could see added playing time in the second half. Achiuwa has logged at least 20 minutes in a game nine times this season. He finished with at least 10 combined points and rebounds in each of those games. Take the over here.
