DraftKings. Rolling with Mikal Bridges again, as the Knicks will be without Karl-Anthony Towns tonight. In three games sans KAT, Bridges has 20+ points in each. While he hasn’t been as consistent in January as he was in February, it’s a spot where I see Bridges getting up 17-20 shots in his usual 36+ minutes.
This is going to go badly wrong if all those Sixers guys who sat out last night vs. the Thunder are out again, but I tend to think that Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Paul George all suit up tonight against a bitter rival. New York has lost five of seven and Karl-Anthony Towns is iffy. If the Big 3 play and KAT doesn't, then I not only believe this hits but that Philly may just win outright.
We continue to fade the beat up Sixers, running dudes up from the G League, at home where they really struggle. They have now failed to cover seven straight at home. They have covered one of their last eight games overall and eight of their last 10 losses are by 6+ points. They are 6-12-2 ATS as a dog and 8-13-1 ATS after a loss (OKC handled them Tues). Knicks are 9-2 ATS when favored by 3.5-6.5 points, covering on average by 9.3 points. Philly is still dealing with roster issues and the Knickerbockers won by 12 there earlier this season. Expect the Knicks to bounce back from tough loss to the Pistons in a big way.
