Tonight, LeBron figures to be on the floor vs. his old team, which has started this Western Conference road trip in fine fashion with wins at Denver and Golden State. Though the Cavs had a recent five-game over streak, in the past ten days they have also allowed just 99 to the Sixers and 95 to the Warriors. Darius Garland has combined for at least nine rebounds and assists in seven of his last eight games. While he didn’t grab a rebound against the Lakers the first time these two teams met, he finished with 10 assists in just 22 minutes. The Lakers have allowed the sixth-most assists per game and the 13th-most rebounds per game in the league. If Garland can play closer to 30 minutes in this rematch, he could blow past this over.

The Cavaliers just played Monday, but Donovan Mitchell only logged 27 minutes in their lopsided victory over the Warriors. Still, he scored 23 points. He is averaging 24.6 points per game on the road this season, compared to 22.7 points per game at home. The last time he faced the Lakers, he scored 24 points over 30 minutes in a blowout win in Cleveland. I think the Lakers keep this game closer at home, leaving Mitchell with a favorable opportunity to hit this over.
