Could be the only time that LeBron James and son Bronny play together in Cleveland, and Lakers coach JJ Redick has hinted at a rotation "tweak" tonight -- which to me says Bronny is getting at least a few minutes in his pseudo-hometown. I don't trust him to score, but he can certainly pull down a board like he did in the season opener. This will be my last Bronny James prop play this season if not ever. He's not an NBA player. At least not right now.

May play less NBA this season on here if the spreads don't start normalizing -- and I'm already a bit fed up with these injury reports and guys not cleared until 20 minutes before tip. Usually not interested in games where the number is above -6 or so unless I think a big home underdog has value. Don't love fading LeBron James in his annual return to Cleveland, but he's apparently feeling a bit under the weather (will play). I'd be willing to wager that Bronny James sees the court tonight for a few minutes considering the location if you wanted to bet some prop on him. L.A. lost its only road game and has played outside the Pacific Time Zone just once including preseason.

Is this the last time Bron plays in The Land? Maybe. And with his son on the bench (and the court for a minute), this is extra special for him. JJ Reddick is clearly a players coach, and he ain't standing in the way here (love what he is doing so far by the way, much as it pains me). Bron averages 28.5 vs Cavs in his career, and as a Laker has scored at least 26 every time he's faced his former team. He has at least 28 in every game at CLE as a Laker. We are only two games removed from his dropping a 32-point triple double. And Lakers playing great ball. He's gonna get his mins and put on a show.

Evan Mobley has gotten off to a good start to the '24-'25 zeason and the 4th year big man looks poised to take a leap in the scoring department. The Cavs are running more offense through Mobley and he’s been aggressive offensively while looking for his shot. Ultimately I expect Mobley to average over 18-19 PPG and this is a spot I will continue you take until the oddsmakers adjust.
