Russell Westbrook is out for the Clippers, but the Bucks will be without Khris Middleton and Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Clips have the advantage with James Harden, Paul George, and Kawhi Leonard all expected to play. I'm laying the points here.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out -- that surprises me. Figured he would play in a marquee matchup. This was around Bucks -175 but this new number is active at DraftKings (and FanDuel) as I push the button. Feels low honestly. Do expect it to go up a bit simply as action will start flowing on LA. That said, it's far from a lock because the Clippers played a very tough game last night at Minnesota, but it's now the only play in my mind.
This is a nice buy low opportunity for James Harden who is coming off a 4 point performance after shooting 0-10 from the field. This is a significantly friendlier matchup against a Bucks defense that allows the 4th most points, in addition to the 5th most PRA to the PG position. Harden has tremendous career splits against the Bucks and I expect the former MVP to bounce back in Milwaukee.
The Bucks are starting to figure things out defensively and adjust to Doc Rivers and I like them coming home in this spot. They have won five straight and covered five straight ... but some of that was against the NBA's JV. This is a jump up in weight class but I'll lay the juice to just have them win the game and not worry about covering. The Greak Freak is playing like an MVP, they are getting a nice jolt from the bench and are 24-7 at home and catch the Clippers on the back end of a back-to-back having just won an ugly game at Minnesota.
