Porter Jr. should get looks and make shots. Plus he will thrive with Joker in the zone. Over!
We're getting a nice discount on this combo line for Michael Porter Jr who is averaging a combined 24.6 PRA on the season. MPJ has been playing great basketball as of late and is averaging 18/7/2 through the month of February. Look for the talented forward to play upwards of 35 minutes tonight in a rematch of the NBA finals.
This feels like a dramatic adjustment to last year's finals. While that was a low scoring affair, this is not playoff basketball. The Sportsline Model does account for back to backs, and still projects the Nuggets to come in over this number. I understand that Miami's defense allows an impressive 107 on the road, but this is still a Nuggets offense averaging 119 at home, and are on a particularly high streak since the break. While I don't think they will score their typical home average, I believe they can get over this number.
NBA Finals rematch. It is the second of a back-to-back for Denver, but no one played super-crazy minutes in Wednesday's blowout home win over Sacramento so I'll have to hope no one sits. Considering the opponent, I tend to doubt it barring a nagging injury. This ML may get too high to play soon, though, so we'll chance it. Kevin Love and Josh Richardson remain out for Miami and Tyler Herro could miss a third game in a row. The Heat look to finish off a 6-0 road trip that was split up by the All-Star break.
