Mobley is starting get hot. He has gone over this 9/11 and Chic doesn’t play great interior D. Over
In a perfect world, the Bulls would have Lonzo Ball, Zach LaVine, and Patrick Williams all on the court tonight. But that's no more than a dream since the start of the season when Ball was sidelined, and subsequently others (like LaVine and Williams) have joined the Chicago ranks of the infirmed. Billy Donovan has less depth these days, which we envision catching up with the Bulls later in March. For the moment, however, DeMar DeRozan, Coby White and Nicola Vucevic give Chicago a puncher's chance. Even off a loss to the Pistons, can make a case for the Bulls at this price, especially as the Cavs have yet to cover since the All-Star break (and no covers last six). Play Bulls
The Cleveland Cavaliers have not had a strong performance post All Star break yet. In four games they are 2-2, and both victories were not their best output. Today, look for the Cavaliers to be sparked off Max Strus’s insane winning shot. Additionally, they played the Bulls in a recent matchup on February 14th, and the Bulls are coming off a poor loss to the Pistons.
Caris LeVert continues to be the leader of the Cavaliers’ second unit. Not only can he score in bunches, but he is averaging 3.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game for the season. Over his last 11 games, he has recorded at least eight combined rebounds and assists 10 times. That included a game against the Bulls in which he produced four rebounds and nine assists over 23 minutes. I’ll pay the juice and take the over.
Evan Mobley is quietly having a strong season and the big man has been a major reason why the Cavs find themselves in 2nd place in the Eastern Conference. Mobley is averaging 15.7/10/3 on exceptional shooting splits of 61/47/65. He has also been arguably Cleveland's best defender and the Cavs have some drastic splits whenever Mobley has been either inactive or off the floor this season. Mobley has eclipsed this line in 9 of his last 11 appearances and the majority of these games he was playing with a hard minutes cap. Look for Mobley stuff the stat sheet tomorrow night in Chicago.
