Bam is on a great run. But now Jimmy Butler and THerro are I. The mix which simply gives him less opportunities. Couple that with the pace being slow here and under is the play
This was around -130 but the Raptors have traded All-Star Pascal Siakam to Indiana for flotsam and draft picks. Scottie Barnes has become Toronto's best player (and I may have to look at his PRA prop total for tonight now), but Siakam is a close second. This ML is active post-trade at DraftKings but it may still go up a bit (honestly does feel a little low with Toronto losing such a valuable player) as I expect a lot of Heat action now.
This combo line for Bam Adebayo feels a touch too high with both Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro suiting up to face Toronto. Both Herro and Butler are high usage players. Both these teams also play slow which should limit possessions with Miami ranking 29th in Pace and Toronto checking in at 18th. Bam is having a great season but this number is a few ticks too high for him in a paced down spot.
The Heat are happy to have Jimmy Butler back, but they are still playing shorthanded with Jaime Jaquez Jr. (groin) and Kevin Love (knee) out. They both missed Monday’s win over the Nets, but Tyler Herro stepped up to score 29 points. Butler is the Heat’s best player, but he is not a usage rate hog by any means. Both he and Bam Adebayo are very good passers who should help Herro get more easy looks. The Raptors have allowed the third-highest three-point shooting percentage in the league, so with Herro shooting 41.1 percent from behind the arc for the season, the over is the way to go here.
The Heat are the healthiest that they have been in a while. Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Kevin love will be out, but Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo are all healthy. So are key supporting players Kyle Lowry, Caleb Martin and Duncan Robinson. The Raptors are 0-4 since losing starting center Jakob Poeltl and have trade rumors swirling around Pascal Siakam. This is a great spot for the Heat to grab a win on the road.
