Even with Kristaps Porzingis out, I’ll side with the Celtics. They just defeated two teams multiple times that gave them problems last season in Orlando and Cleveland. Golden State on the other hand is having a multitude of issues, and now their superstar in Steph Curry is coming off his first game without a three in 268 games. Grab the Celtics.

Derrick White averages nearly 7 additional points per game this season anytime Kristaps Porzingis has been inactive, which will be the case tonight as the Warriors travel to Boston to take on the Celtics in a rematch of the finals from two years ago. Look for White to stuff the stat sheet and contribute in a variety of ways against a Warriors team that is playing smaller and with Pace sans Draymond Green.

The Celtics whipped up on my Orlando Magic twice bad enough that I’m ready to claim them as by far the best team in the Eastern Conference. Now, they head out West to Golden State, where the Warriors have lost so many close ones this year. Without Draymond Green, it’s just not the same team. Lay the points with Boston.

This was 5.5 but Kristaps Porzingis has just been ruled out. I might be betting the uniform, but the Dubs have looked much better recently and obviously will be massively fired up for this visit and rematch of the 2022 Finals. Boston has played just one road game since Nov. 25 and has lost its past three away overall.
