Brady Singer is having a career season for the Royals but I believe he's being overvalued in this particular market. Hes eclipsed this line in three consecutive starts but all three starts came against the Cubs and the White Sox. Now Singer faces an elite Red Sox offense that is 2nd in OPS against opposing right handed pitching. I like under 17.5 pitching outs.

Don’t love the big maple….especially on a warm night with the wind blowing out. The Paxson is a fly ball pitcher and Singer is not.

Brady Singer’s 2.88 ERA looks excellent on the surface, but his xERA is 4.45. His FIP is 3.73, and he has a .278 BABIP (batting average with balls in play). Singer is mostly a two-pitch pitcher, throwing his slider 42% and sinker 41% of the time. Rafael Devers is batting .271 with a .746 slugging percentage against sliders and .323 with a .492 slug against sinkers. Devers is batting .375 with a .875 slug in eight career at-bats against Singer. Kaufman Stadium ranks fifth in hits, fifth in runs, third in doubles, and fourth in triples, allowing the hardest hit rate of all 30 stadiums. With an air density of 55, the baseball is expected to travel 13% farther than usual tonight.

James Paxton's seasonlong numbers don't look terrible because he had a strong April and May. Since then the 35-year-old been a disaster, prompting the Dodgers to designate him for assignment, then trade him.
