This is a discount ML price on an Arizona club that has fallen short of expectations thus far but is catching Colorado at a good time. The Buffaloes are a bit banged up and in a letdown spot following another dramatic finish last week in their home loss to Kansas State.
Honestly, you could probably bet short Big 12 dogs on the moneyline blindly and rake in the profits at this point, but this is more about my belief that the Buffs have a talent edge on the Wildcats. Tet McMillan is fantastic for Arizona, but Colorado is deeper at WR, and has a serious edge at QB.
Travis Hunter, the deserving Heisman Trophy winner at this point of the season, has been cleared to play after leaving last Saturday's game early with an injury. Can't imagine him being on the field for his usual sky-high number of snaps. Two other Buffaloes WRs are out. 'Zona has hardly been a friend to backers, going 1-5 ATS so far. Still, the Wildcats were expected to contend for the Big 12 title, and it does not take much prodding to get up for Coach Prime's team, particularly this being a homecoming game and the school's first sellout of the year.
