    Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Micah's Analysis:

I’m assuming former Arizona State QB Jayden Daniels will start for LSU. No announcement yet, which means the Tigers have only five returning starters, a bunch of new guys and a new coaching staff in their first game together. Brian Kelly is a heck of a coach, but I think Florida State, with 15 starters back - including QB Jordan Travis, is better prepared to execute a game plan, and they have one game under their belt already. Take Seminoles to cover.

    Matt's Analysis:

Interesting college football weekend. Got massacred early but then did well late. I truly believe one game sometimes is the "hinge" on a whole day and that was Houston-UTSA. Lose that one and I was toast. Thank you Cougars. As for this, I simply hate Florida State (awesome unis though) as a Hurricanes fan. Obviously it's basically a home game in New Orleans for LSU in Brian Kelly's debut. He hasn't named his starting QB as of this writing but I'm quite sure it will be ASU transfer Jayden Daniels. The Tigers churn out superstar wideouts and Kayshon Boutte (he had to be good after all the playground grief he probably got) is the latest. I would probably take FSU 1H line if so inclined as the Noles played a game and while Tigers adjust, but I do think LSU wins something like 34-30.

    Stephen's Analysis:

The Tigers are winning in 71 percent of my simulations, and the juice isn’t too high, so this is a better value than the spread. My model has LSU winning by double digits, and the Over is hitting at a 68-percent clip. LSU is a much more talented team, with QB Jayden Daniels having plenty of top-tier skill positions around him. The Tigers defense should be among the nation’s best, so FSU could start the season in a hole.

    Emory's Analysis:

Many people and pundits are letting personal feelings about LSU coach Brian Kelly get in the way of the amount of talent he's got on his football team. With QB Jayden Daniels having excellent weapons at WR and TE, as well as a stable offensive line, the Tigers will be able to score. In addition, LSU's defense should be among the top five in the nation. This is a bad matchup for Florida State.
