It's been impressive defensive efforts from both teams that have them undefeated meeting in a top-10 matchup Saturday in East Lansing. It can be argued that Michigan has the better unit on both sides of the ball. Is its offense explosive? Not exactly. But can it run the ball down your throat? Absolutely. While Michigan can move the ball, Michigan State struggles finishing drives on occasion and will be going up against the best defense its faced to this point. This is going to be a grind-it-out game, but I like the Wolverines to win by a touchdown in what may arguably be the best win of Jim Harbaugh's career to this point at UM. We should get to see caveman football at its finest. Both teams like to pound the football and both are good at stopping the run. Three yards and a cloud of pellets! That may leave things in the hands of two pretty average quarterbacks and keep the score down. I don't think either team gets past 24.

While Michigan is the better team between these two, it's been one-dimensional on offense, which makes it difficult to trust the Wolverines as road favorites in what should be a lower-scoring affair. Plus, it doesn't hurt that Michigan State has covered 11 of the last 13 meetings.

Both teams are undefeated, and only one team has covered against either of them all season (Rutgers at Michigan). I think more pressure is on Michigan after the Spartans beat them in Ann Arbor last season. The QB play for both teams has been average.
