    Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Larry's Analysis:

Saquon Barkley is healthy and, at least for Week 1, Daniel Jones figures to have all his wideouts available. That is usually enough for Jones to be competitive in the underdog role. Combined with an innovative playbook devised by new coach Brian Daboll, the Giants shouldn't resemble what we saw at the end of last season. Let's remember that with Jones, who's entering a make-or-break season, the Giants beat the Eagles, Saints and Raiders last year while falling by just three at Kansas City. New York improved its offensive line, another boost for Jones. The Titans are deserving favorites after claiming the AFC's top seed a year ago, but this number is too big. They traded No. 1 wideout A.J. Brown and lost their best pass rusher, Harold Landry, to a season-ending injury. They were already trending downward offensively, having scored over 20 points just twice in their final eight games.

    R.J.'s Analysis:

The Giants embark on a new era with Brian Daboll at head coach, and I'm high on their chances of improving this season with such a quality offensive mind calling the shots. He should have immediate success against a Titans defense that suffered a major loss with Harold Landry's injury, and I think generating edge pressure is going to be a major issue for Tennessee all year. Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley should give the Giants enough firepower to either keep this game close or backdoor cover if the Titans offense is already at peak form with Derrick Henry, or win outright should Ryan Tannehill struggle to get the passing game going. People using the Titans in survivor pools are playing with fire.

    Jeff's Analysis:

The Titans' offensive line is in major flux. They decided to invest heavily on the defensive line instead. The Giants' offensive line looks much improved and all their key starters played meaningful snaps in the preseason. The Titans really don't know what type of offense the new regime will implement. New York knows exactly the Titans' game plan, which features Derrick Henry behind a shaky offensive line. Tennessee just lost its best edge rusher from a year ago with a season-ending injury. Take the road underdog.

    Allan's Analysis:

Rejoice! Football season is here. The Giants head to Nashville to start the 2022 season against the Titans and I'm laying the points here with Tennessee and I'll tell you why. This offseason was not a pleasant one for Mike Vrabel's crew after how the season ended with the playoff loss to Cincinnati, I do weekly radio on the Titans' flagship station, I've seen and heard it all first hand. That said, it benefits us here. Training Camp has been quiet but with a purpose...the Titans are coming in extra salty and ready to get some demons off their backs they've dealt with the past six months. New York has a new coaching staff and on the road, while the Titans have the better head coach, better QB, better RB, much better defense and aren't learning a new system like New York, communication continuity is already built in. Oh, and the Giants are 0-5 SU and ATS in their last five season openers to boot. Four of those five losses were by double-digit points as well. The star of the show will be Jeffery Simmons, you heard it here first. Take Tennessee.
