Davante Adams won’t play, and both Geronimo Allison and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are questionable after not practicing all week. It’s possible one or both of the latter two will be able to go, but probably not at 100%. The Raiders are coming off a bye, and their rush defense is allowing just 3.7 yards per carry, so I don’t think the Packers will be able to score a ton. I like Jon Gruden’s team at least keeping this close. Take the points.
Jon Gruden has done a good job but the Raiders beat a Chicago team that wasn't ready to play. Green Bay is at home, the Packers are balanced offensively, and I like the new coach. Look for Green Bay to cover in a high-scoring game.
This is a terrible situational spot for the Packers, coming off a Monday night divisional game and facing the rested Raiders off a bye. This line has fallen for good reason. Green Bay is dealing with multiple key injuries. Back Oakland to take this one to the wire.
At the end of the day, this entire pick boils down to two key factors for me. One is that I expect the Raiders to be well-prepared for the Packers since they're coming off a bye. The other is that, despite what their record says, the Packers aren't all that good. The defense has regressed since the start of the season, the receiving core is down to nothing, and Aaron Rodgers is not the Aaron Rodgers of old. Take the Raiders.
