This feels like it's going to be a lower-scoring game, unless the Chiefs can keep piling on non-offensive TDs. If one team is going to score a lot of points, it'll be the Raiders. They're looking for revenge after losing at home to the Chiefs earlier this season, which was the only time since September they were held under 27 points. Since we're getting the hook in this situation, I'm going to grab the Raiders, expecting either an outright win or a Chiefs victory by three or less.
Arrowhead at night in December is a huge homefield edge for the Chiefs, who have beaten Oakland four straight times. K.C. comes in healthier as Oakland is missing starting safety Karl Joseph and starting defensive tackle Stacy McGee. Buffalo ran for 212 yards against the Raiders last Sunday, and the Chiefs, who rushed for 183 in their 26-10 win in Oakland in Week 6, should have success with Spencer Ware. Alex Smith loves facing the Raiders (8-1 record, 18 TDs, 3 INTs). Look for the Chiefs' "gimmicky" offense to thrive.
The Chiefs have won four straight and six of seven against the Raiders, including Week 6 at Oakland, but I'm loving them this week at Arrowhead getting all the points I can get. I've got the Raiders 1 point better than KC and give KC 2.5 for home field (so, Chiefs -1.5). The Raiders haven't lost since that KC game, covering five of six, and all six of the games have gone Over. They do what they want and have extreme confidence, and the Mack attack has been a one man wrecking crew on defense during the win streak. This is a huge game for both teams, but I'm rolling with the most fun team in the NFL to keep their roll going.
