The Lakers ought to be laser-focused tonight after getting humiliated at home by the Bulls in LeBron's return game last Saturday. But this quick turnaround after last night's controversial win at Indiana might not be the best schedule spot for the Lake Show, and LeBron, who's been getting pulled all sorts of different ways (including Pat McAfee's show on Wednesday) on this road swing. The Lakers' defense has also been shoddy lately, and the Bulls suddenly look menacing as their explosive offense has paced three straight wins, scoring better than 134 ppg in the process (including that 146-115 rout of the Lakers). Josh Giddey (forearm) is listed as questionable for this game. The Bulls are already down Tre Jones (foot) and Lonzo Ball (wrist) as they fight for a spot in the Play-In Tournament, so I think Giddey makes every effort to play. He has recorded at least nine assists in seven of his last 11 games, which included a 17-assist effort against the Lakers last week. The Lakers have allowed the ninth-most assists per game in the league, setting up Giddey to have another big night in that department.

Josh Giddey has been playing the best basketball of his career, however this line is now approaching Jayson Tatum/Anthony Edwards territory. Giddey is also a regression candidate when it comes to his perimeter shooting. The Lakers also are a tough matchup as they not only have been playing good defense but a very slow pace. If LeBron and Luka suit up there is certainly some additional blowout potential here as well.
