Understanding Public and Money
Caesar’s. Santi Aldama has cleared this line in 10 of 14 games without Ja Morant (out), when he plays at least 24 minutes. The Grizzlies rotations can be tricky, but Aldama came back from his own injury to play 27 and 31 minutes, respectively, with a start in the last game.
Ja Morant has been out the past week and it has shown for Memphis with three straight losses that have worryingly moved the Griz a bit closer to West play-in territory. That's relative, however, compared to the plight of the Jazz, whose main objective at the moment seems to be improved position for the draft lottery. Little attempt seems to be being made to get Lauri Markkanen and others back to active duty anytime soon. Utah has lost 12 of 13 with results getting progressively worse, bottoming out in Sunday's 120-91 loss to the Cavs. Often shorthanded, the Jazz is scoring a tick under 100 ppg its last five, and under in four of those. Play Grizzlies-Jazz Under.
Santi Aldama has scored exactly 16 points in both games since returning from a calf injury. He played at least 27 minutes in both games and even started their last game Friday against the Clippers. Going back further, Aldama has scored at least 14 points in eight of his last 12 games. This is a great matchup for him against the Jazz, who have played at the fifth-fastest pace and have the second-worst defensive rating in the league. The only previous time that he faced the Jazz this season, Aldama scored 27 points. With Ja Morant (hamstring) out Tuesday, Aldama should receive plenty of shot attempts.
