DraftKings. Isiah Collier is having a nice second half to his rookie campaign. However, when evaluating his props, it’s important to adjust to who is active for the tanking Jazz. Tonight, both Collin Sexton and Keyonte George will be active. Collier is under this line in 9/10 games played with 26+ minutes with both guys suiting up. The Raptors perimeter defense has been relatively sound of late, ranking in the top 11 against opposing point guard’s P+R over the last 30 games.
Not often do we lay points with the Raptors, but we don't usually get to go against a bad team that is also without most of its best players, either. That's Utah, and compounding matters for the Jazz is that they're on the road, where they've lost ten straight and played just once in the last month (and lost at the Wizards two nights ago). Moreover, three (Lauri Markkanen, John Collins, and Collin Sexton) and maybe four (add the iffy Keyonte George) of Utah's top scorers are going to be out tonight. Meanwhile, Toronto showed some life earlier this week with back-to-back wins at Orlando (something we doubt the Jazz could do), and RJ Barrett (21.2 7 ppg) continues to provide reliable production. While Isaiah Collier has certainly proven that he belongs in the league, he is still a ways away from being a consistent scorer. It also looks like Collier will be sharing the court with both Collin Sexton and possibly Keyonte George who are both likely going to eat into Colliers minutes. Collier has really struggled on the road this season and I expected this number to be closer to 22.5. I have a solid edge here and would play this for a full unit at 24.5.
