Julius Randle (thigh) will miss his sixth straight game for the Timberwolves. Rudy Gobert has thrived with him out, averaging 14.6 points and 13.0 rebounds over the last five games. In four of those games, he finished with at least 25 combined points and rebounds. In the other game, he had 23 combined. The last time he faced the Cavaliers, Gobert produced 29 combined points and rebounds. This is a great spot for him to go over this prop.

Anthony Edwards is questionable but would be on extra rest for tonight’s matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers, as he missed the last game against Portland. Edwards prior two games he had went off scoring 40 points or more against Chicago and Houston. Edwards ability to get to the free throw line has led to the big increase, where he is attempting 16.5 free throws over his last two games. Play his over against a Cavs team that has been a bit more vulnerable defensively.
Cleveland and Minnesota played a faster-paced 124-117 game (won by the Cavs) on January 18 at the Target Center, a shootout that featured 73 points in a back-and-forth 4th quarter. That's part of a longer narrative on the Cleveland side that features an 18-8 over mark since mid-December. Meanwhile, despite landing on the under side vs. the Blazers on Saturday, the Wolves offense awakened in the 4th quarter vs. Portland, are 11-5 over their last 16. Much of that minus F Julius Randle (groin) the past two weeks. Anthony Edwards (sore hip) missed the Portland game, and status likely a game-time decision tonight, but Jaden McDaniels and Naz Reid (combined 53 points) picked up much of the offensive slack on Saturday. Play Wolves-Cavs Over.
