Revenge is often a dish best served cold and the Magic have fresh memories of being dominated by the Blazers 101-79 just one week ago tonight at Kia Center. The chance for amends didn't wait long, though Portland is on its best stretch (5-1 last six) of the season. Keep in mind that recent Blazers win a week ago came against a Magic side with Franz Wagner in his first game off of the injured list, and the first time he'd played on the floor with Paolo Banchero since late October, and the rust was obvious. The Magic have played better since, beating the Pistons and taking the Heat into OT, and there's a chance that even Jalen Suggs might be available tonight. Play Magic

This is a huge number for Deni Avdija who averages less than 15 PPG. Avdija is coming off of B2B 28+ point performances, which is why we're seeing this prop so high. Avdija is a nice player but he hasn't suddenly become a 20 point scorer and he gets a very difficult matchup against the Magic. Orlando pairs a top 3 defense with the league's best defense against opposing forwards. The Magic surrender the fewest points to opposing SFs, in addition to the 5th fewest to opposing PFs. I'd play this for 1u at 16.5.
The Blazers have their offense in peak form, they have been very good at home and they just blew out the sagging Magic last week. Something feels really off with the Magic these days. If the Blazers play anything close to how well they did against the Bucks the other night this could be ugly.
The Blazers have my attention now. What looked like a blip when they boatraced the Bulls a while back feels like a real turn for the better now. They've covered 6 straight games - all by at least 4 points. Their average cover margin in that span is 14.8 points. Wow. Magic continue their utter free fall, and even at their best the road is usually unkind from an ATS standpoint. ORL has failed to cover 6 of last 7 and lost 6 of last 7 and they got blown out by Portland by 22 last week. Magic is 3-8 ATS in last 11 on road. Blazers are very live for me to win this game.
