It's been a disappointing season for Josh Hart who signed a 94 million dollar contract in the offseason with the Knicks. Considering Hart averages less than 10 PPG in his career and often comes off the bench highlights the versatility and Harts ability to stuff the stat sheet while contributing in a variety of ways. We're getting a slight discount here as Hart is coming off a few poor games. This looks like a buy low spot for Hart who is likely to log close to 30 minutes tonight for the Knicks.
I spent a long weekend in LA a handful of years ago and it took me about a week to feel back to normal from that party scene (I also partly blame the food trucks; pretty much "Epcot"-ed the food world that weekend). Granted, I'm not a multimillionaire young athlete in primo shape but still think that the Knicks have been in LA since Friday night -- got blasted by the Clippers on Saturday -- makes a difference. It's also the end of a West Coast trip. The Lakers are listing half the roster as questionable, but it's not part of a B2B so I expect them all to play. Disregard obviously if LeBron or AD are out.
What to make of these Knicks, who are suddenly are playing as fast as the Indiana Pacers on this road trip that has seen their last two scorelines eclipse 260 points on this road trip? Jalen Brunson is two games removed from scoring 50 at Phoenix, but the New York defense left a lot to be desired on Saturday when the Clippers erupted for 144 points. LeBron seems to get extra-focused for games vs. one of the New York teams, and here's thinking AD makes the lineup, too, after taking off Friday night in San Antonio to rest his ailing hip. Getting to the mid 230s seems a reasonable ask at Crypto.com. Play Knicks-Lakers "Over"
