Tough to trust Charlotte much, but this is the end of a four-game road trip for the Cavs, who only won by six in Charlotte on Sunday and these back-to-back games in the same city can be tricky on the favorite -- Cleveland also is without Donovan Mitchell and Jarrett Allen tonight. Allen sat Sunday but Mitchell had 23 points. Kelly Oubre Jr. missed that for the Bugs due to injury but is probable tonight.

When these two teams met Sunday, Garland scored 28 points over 39 minutes. Donovan Mitchell (rest) will now sit out their rematch, joining Jarrett Allen (eye) on the sidelines. The Hornets rank inside the top-10 in the league in pace of play and inside the bottom-10 in defensive rating, so with added shot attempts coming Garland’s way, the over is the way to go.

Oubre (back) is listed as probable after sitting out when these two teams played each other Sunday. That was the second game of a back-to-back set for the Hornets, so it’s not exactly a huge surprise that he sat out. Prior to that, he had scored at least 24 points in five of six games since moving into the starting lineup. With plenty of minutes and shot attempts likely coming his way, I’ll go to the well again and take the over.
