After the Celtics stole Game 1 on the road, their chances to win a championship improved significantly. The Warriors were only 22-19 on the road during the regular season, and they have now lost four of their last five playoff games on the road. Three of those losses came by at least 10 points. The Warriors received the good news that Stephen Curry will be able to take the floor after suffering a foot injury in Game 3, but it’s not certain that he will be at full strength. Even if he is, I like the Celtics to take care of business on their home floor.
My original plan was to take the points here because the Dubs are 5-0 in these playoffs after a loss ... until Steph Curry hurt his foot late in the fourth quarter Wednesday when Boston's Al Horford accidentally rolled up on it. Curry was in quite a bit of pain, and while he did play a bit longer was seen limping around afterward. If this were the regular season, no way he plays Friday. I'm sure he will go but if he doesn't, this ML would clearly skyrocket and the Dubs don't have a great shot of winning with a less-than-100-percent Curry. That Golden State couldn't win Wednesday with Curry and Klay Thompson both playing well is concerning enough. I also think Draymond Green forgot to take his meds. He's in his own head now. Love the guy as a Sparty but such a wild card with his antics. C's fans celebrate with a mega-pint again Friday at Cask 'n Flagon.
