Cleveland ranks second in OPS (.802) against left-handers and should fare well against Angels starter Reid Detmers, who owns a 10.53 ERA this month. Detmers was rocked May 4 at Progressive Field. Guardians starter Ben Lively has allowed three or fewer earned runs in all seven of his starts. Back Cleveland, which has a much better bullpen, to win its ninth straight.

Guardians are one of the most improved teams in ball, they are playing with confidence and some swag and they get Reid Detmers, who is faltering and who the Guardians middle of lineup sees well. CLE Sunday lineup has more potential than LAA. Angels 2-6 on Sun, losing 5 times by 2 runs or more. CLE 5-2 on Sun, winning 4 times by 2 or more. Lively should keep Guardians in the game. Halos pen has mucho issues.

The Guardians have won eight straight and 15 of their last 20, and they get to face a pitcher who has been struggling immensely with the wind blowing out on Sunday. Reid Detmers has allowed at least four earned runs in six straight starts along with multiple homers in four of those outings. He's up against an offense with a 128 OPS+ against lefties that has recorded at least three earned runs in seven of nine outings against non-opener lefty starters this year, with six of those topping four earned runs. The juice on this should be a lot higher, and I might just make the line 3.5.
