It's going to be ridiculously cold in Provo on Saturday night (single digits), at least for this Arizona resident to imagine. But that shouldn't stop either of these teams from scoring early and often. The last six Jayhawks games have seen totals of 56 or more points, while BYU has scored at least 38 points in each of their four home games. Expect a shootout in the chilly weather but the Cougars stay undefeated. BYU 38, Kansas 30.
This number baffles me. Yeah, I guess it could be a bit of a letdown special for BYU off its crazy win over Utah, but the Cougars are playing for a spot in the Big 12 title game and the playoff, and I'd think that would override any letdown concerns. Kansas might be flat itself, frankly, after is biggest win of the season on Saturday at home vs. ranked Iowa State. While I could see the Jayhawks pulling off the upset in Lawrence, I can't in Provo especially in one of those late-night games in which the Cougars seem to thrive in over the years. I fully expect this to reach nearly -200 at some point this week.
