Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Emory's Analysis:

Not too many people appreciate what Cornell QB Jameson Wang can do at the position. His ability as a true dual-threat player makes them tough to defend. I can trust their offense a little bit more this season than Princeton's.

Matt's Analysis:

This is similar to us playing Rhode Island last week in that I'm not sure whether this will go up or down (FCS games swing wildly) but it seems like via the models' final score projections -- and RI did win easily for us last Saturday -- that Princeton should certainly win. Both these schools are 2-4 overall and 1-2 in the Ivy. Princeton was picked to finish fourth and Cornell seventh. The Tigers have won eight of the last nine contests in the series, including four straight at home. Cornell allows nearly 200 yards rushing per game, last in the Ivy.
