I know Duke is 5-1 but it may be the most misleading 5-1 record in the country if you take a close look at the schedule it's faced. Yes, Florida State has been bad, but it's never lost to Duke, and the change to Brock Glenn at QB might prove to be exactly what this team needed to care again.
Florida State will once again be without quarterback DJ U, as Brock Glenn gets his second consecutive start. As poor as the Seminoles season has been at 1-5, they are facing a Duke team that plays to the level of their competition. Outside of their win against Middle Tennessee, their three other division one wins were all comeback victories. Look for that style of play to finally catch up to Duke. Take the road underdog with the Seminoles.
Florida State has had an off week to get prepped for this Friday night road game in Durham, where the records will make many rub their eyes seeing a 1-5 FSU team facing a 5-1 Duke squad. Even though the Seminoles did not win, the offense did look more functional with Brock Glenn at quarterback and with the extra time to prepare I think that group will play well even against a solid Duke defense. I know the Noles have been awful this year, but catching points when the program is 20-0 against the Blue Devils is a spot you have to take.
