There are usually a couple of spreads per college football Saturday that surprise me with how they move. This is definitely one. Colleague Emory Hunt played Dartmouth +1.5 early this week and I have no idea why it has swung this much. Trust me, I've looked but Yale football news isn't exactly prevalent. Found some guy's Yale FB blog but he's just mad at his mom for making him clean his room, so who the heck knows. I do know that Yale was picked as the preseason Ivy champion so it's a little puzzling why getting +3.5 at home unless the whole team went to one of those Brazilian meat places last night like in Bridesmaids.

Expect this one to be one of the more physical matchups in the Ivy League this weekend. Dartmouth does a great job of controlling the line of scrimmage. Yale's offense has been okay, but not the dominant force we've seen in recent years. Their defense gives them a chance each week. I don't think they have enough consistency on offense to cover.
