I'm not sold on Alex Orji, but the Michigan defense is elite and has the premier defensive tackle duo in college football. Will Johnson is expected to play and tight end Colston Loveland is probable as well. I expect this game to be ugly, and downright boring at times. In the end, I don't think Minnesota can score enough to keep this game within 10 points.
Michigan's offense is extremely one-dimensional, and I don't think the possible return of Colston Loveland fixes it. On the other side, I'm skeptical Minnesota will do much, if any damage, against the Wolverines defense.
Michigan has gotten over its identity crisis and we should upgrade its offensive rating even if Alex Orji gives the Wolverines a more one-dimensional attack. Minnesota lacks the dynamic playmakers necessary to force Michigan out of its comfort zone, setting up for a comfortable home win in the Big House.
