Cincinnati is poised for payback after playing one of its worst games vs. West Virginia on Feb. 2. In that 63-50 loss, the Bearcats shot 31.5 percent and Jizzle James went scoreless on 0-for-8 shooting. Since then, the sophomore guard has scored 15, 24, 25 and 25 points with Cincy going 3-1 SU and 4-0 ATS. The Mountaineers have dropped six of eight and aren't likely to shoot 50 percent from deep (9 of 18) like they did in the first meeting. In a game that should go down to the wire, I took the points at FanDuel.
One of the more flat performances in-conference this season was when Cincinnati hosted West Virginia. As 6.5 point favorites, it was never a contest as West Virginia led by double digits halfway through the first half and never looked back. That ugly performance sparked the Bearcats as they have won three out of their last four games. Offensively they have scored 70 or more points in four straight games. Take the Bearcats plus the points.
