Purdue is off back-to-back losses and have won five of the last six meetings against the Spartans. Purdue had their worse defensive performances in the second half against the Badgers. Michigan State have been dominating at home, 12-1 SU, but this is a better matchup for the Boilermakers. They’re not as strong from beyond the arc as the Wisconsin where the Boilermakers defend well so they won’t get easy looks. Purdue needs to protect the interior and utilize the pick-and-roll which has helped Brayden Smith be undefeated against the Spartans in his career.

Wisconsin was a bad matchup for Purdue's defense as they stretched out the Boilermakers and got almost everything they wanted inside the arc (a historic 20-for-22 showing on two-point attempts). Michigan State ranks No. 334 in three-point rate and No. 353 in three-point shooting, so Sparty doesn't demand that same kind of respect. This should be closer to a pick 'em and I like the value at more than a full possession of points.

Huge game for both teams at the top of the Big Ten. Purdue looks to avoid losing three consecutive games against strong opponents. I expect a highly competitive, half-court game with a slower pace in the first half. Purdue has been a strong under team again this season, especially at home (4-9). Taking under 70.5 and isolating Michigan State under 35.5.
