Kentucky has been playing much better and Florida is without their big man Castleton but this line makes no sense. The Wildcats don’t have much confidence to shoot from the perimeter and it shows. They’ve been shooting 46.2 percent from the floor as compared the Gators 57.3 percent over their last three games. Florida is still shooting 38.5 from beyond the arc at home while Kentucky shoots 33.3 percent on the road. I’m on Florida.

Still smarting over losses by Xavier and Saint Louis yesterday when both had their game well in hand (it appeared) at one point and both missed winning/tying shots at the end. Ugh. One of those nights. At full strength, Florida is mediocre. Without Colin Castleton, it's simply a bad team. The team's leading scorer, rebounder and shot-blocker broke his hand two games ago, likely to miss the rest of the season, and UF was pummeled inside in a loss to Arkansas on Saturday without him as the Hogs shot 65.3% on two-point shots, scored 52 points in the paint and outrebounded the Gators 40-25. It should be more of the same tonight led by reigning National Player of the Year Oscar Tshiebwe, the nation's leading rebounder. UK seems to have found itself the past two games and can officially be off the bubble for good with an expected win here.

The Gators missed Colin Castleton a lot in their first game without him, an 84-65 loss at Arkansas. The 6-11 senior -- who averages 16.0 points, 7.7 rebounds, 3.0 blocks and 2.7 assists -- broke his hand and is out for the season. In the first matchup with Kentucky, Castleton had 25 points, eight rebounds, five assists and three blocks in Florida's five-point road loss. The Wildcats have stabilized behind Cason Wallace. The 6-4 freshman had 17 assists and four turnovers in the past two games, wins over Tennessee and Mississippi State. Look for the favorite to improve to 13-5 ATS in the past 18 meetings.
