We prefer trusting the offenses here to continue that scoring pace, as neither goalie tonight is seeming too menacing. Scott Wedgewood is in net for Dallas, and he has allowed 3+ goals in five of his last seven games and three of four meetings with New York. Then there's Igor Shesterkin, who has been struggling, allowing 3+ goals in four of his last five starts. Three of the past four meetings between these teams have gone over, with all three such games seeing 9+ goals.

You don't want to fade the Stars too often because they are excellent but also used No. 1 goalie Jake Oettinger today in Boston -- Jake, you couldn't hold a 3-2 lead in the final two minutes to cash our Under?!?! -- and played without two key injured guys in forward Matt Duchene (55 points) and defenseman Miro Heiskanen (33 points). Obviously a pretty good chance they won't play about 24 hours later, either.
