Washington stole Game 1 at home in overtime despite losing starting goaltender Vitek Vanecek to a lower-body injury early. Backup Craig Anderson came on to make 21 saves and allow just a power-play goal. Apparently, Vanecek will not be ready to go here and co-No. 1 Ilya Samsonov was just activated off the COVID list and he's not ready, either. Thus, Anderson appears set to make his first playoff start since 2017, when he was with the Ottawa Senators. I don't trust him at all (clearly oddsmakers don't either since the B's are road favorites) so we will take Boston behind Tuukka Rask.
