Expert Picks
Just one expert pick for this game on SportsLine?!?! Wimps! LOL. Now that this is down to 10, we will back the Colts while being well aware a push could be coming (I'll personally be betting an alt line of -9.5, but this spread ain't getting there). I'm pretty sure the Mike White magic for Gang Green won't happen again. The Jets are 0-4 SU & ATS away from home this season, while the Colts are 3-0 SU & ATS vs. teams that entered with losing records and won each by double digits. Quenton Nelson will play for Indy and Corey Davis won't for the Jets.
The Colts lost wideout T.Y. Hilton, defensive lineman Tyquan Lewis and safety Khari Willis to injuries in their devastating loss to the Titans. Still, this looks like a nice bounceback spot, hosting the young Jets on a short week. But Mike White is much better than I gave him credit for. He threw for 405 yards and three TDs in New York's monumental upset of Cincinnati, and it wasn't fluky. On the other side of the ball, the Jets made an early goal-line stand that set the tone. It's no coincidence C.J. Mosley was back in the lineup; he missed the Jets' 54-13 loss at New England with a hamstring injury. With White and Mosley on the field Thursday night, the Jets should stay within the number.
