The uncertain status (again!) of Zion Williamson encapsulates this season for the Pels, now in the latest of a series of steep declines. It's losses in six of seven for New Orleans with several blowouts, including heavy losses to the Lakers, Rockets, and Magic. Across their last 24 games, the Pels are just 6-18, and Zion's potential absence is another negative, as 'Nawlins is actually 5-4 SU its last nine games with an available Zion. The Pistons, however, have been almost the antithesis of the Pels, as Detroit has consistently punched above its weight, and bounced back from a rare poor effort vs. the Wizards to play high-flying OKC very tough on Saturday, and still 10-4-1 their last 15 vs the line. Play Pistons

This is a low number for Zion who despite being much maligned for having trouble staying on the court, he has continued to be an elite scorer. Zion’s minutes are also starting to ramp up which is a welcome sign as well. He’s also coming off a couple extra days off after missing the Pelicans last game for personal reasons. Zion is likely headed for another Questionable tag but considering it’s not injury related and how good he’s looked, I am very comfortable backing him.
