So which Cavs star do we fade assuming they are up fitty on the wonderfully woeful Wizards (alliteration always makes you sound smarter) by mid-third quarter and yank all their key guys from the game? Donovan Mitchell is set at O/U 25.5 points and that's tempting. But Darius Garland doesn't even average this many points per game and in theory will be fine just assisting. Also, Max Strus will make his season debut tonight off injury, so perhaps subtract a couple shot attempts that Garland might otherwise have had.

This is a ridiculous amount of points. I get that. But the Wizards are making losing by 30 points look easy. They are 4-10-1 ATS when a double-digit dog and the Cavs are 8-2 ATS when favored by 9.5 points or more. They are also 9-3 ATS in their last 12 games and 11-3 ATS at home and 15-5 ATS outside of their division. Oh yeah, and the Wizards are 4-12-1 ATS outside their division. Cavs had 3 days off to recalibrate from a slip in performance. And Max Strus should be back. Expect this to look similar to what the Mavs and Grizz and Clippers have done to WSH. Oh yeah, and the Cavs who beat them by 31 little over a week ago.
