Is it me or has the early season NBA schedule rather been lame? Just not finding games I like night after night yet. Tonight, for example. There are nine games and just one has a spread lower than -4. Dunno, I'm not interested as a bettor in so many games with mid-blowout potential. Denver has the payback angle here for the West Finals collapse, but the Nuggets are lucky to not be 0-4 SU -- they are ATS -- and their past two games both went to OT. This is also the front end of a B2B. Minnesota hasn't really jelled yet after trading KAT to the Knicks but is well-rested and healthy.
I'm still not feeling the Nuggets. The lengths they had to go to on the second of back-to-back vs the Nets, in OT, after barely beating lowly TOR by 2, and just how much is being asked of The Joker already, gives me a lot of pause. We know how this match-up went in the playoffs and while the Wolves have had their issues, too, they are deeper and better than the Nuggets, this is a low number at home and Denver is playing third straight on road while MIN has been home for a week. This is where the Wolves start looking like the 23-24 Wolves again. Nuggets badly lack consistent complimentary shooters right now. Nugs already 0-4 ATS.
